Lionel’s Legacy command control system
Read your review on Legacy,I’ve also taken time to read some of the on line manual at Lionels website.While I found the instructions somewhat cumbersome,I’m excited to put Legacy to work on my division of The Carpet central.Bob
I have not had a chance to test this yet, but I was told by the Lionel tech department that I could use my newer ZW with the Legacy and it would respond as it did with my TMCC CAB-1 to control Postwar locos. Tom.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to run Legacy locos with TMCC and CAB-1 equipment–i.e., if I have a fleet of TMCCs and add a new Legacy, can CAB-1 control it?
Need more aticles like this to explain the many details of the system.
I’m planning to add Legacy Control to my conventional control layout. This was the only info I could find outside of the Lionel web site. I’m encouraged by the positive review and am looking forward to my first Legacy Control System.
