Lionmaster Locomotives and American Flyer

Now that Lionel took the K-Line Big Boy and made it into a very nice S gauge Locomotive, I have to wonder if any of the Lionmaster locos which are allegedly scaled to look okay with smaller O gauge rolling stock (what used to be called O-27 rolling stock) might be candidates to be fitted with S Gauge mechnanisms and sold as part of the American Flyer line.

I don’t know all that much about the Lionmaster Locos, so I’m going to be dependant on the kindness of O gaugers for the answer to this question.

I would really love it [:)]if the Pennsylvania T1 Duplex shown in the 2010 Signature Catalog would be suitable, but, judging by the catalog illustration, I think the Loco would be okay but the tender would be too long.[sigh]

Hi Again,

I forgot to mention that the LionMaster series is Semi-Scale, not 027 size, it falls in between Full-Scale, and 027, which as with Semi-scale is not actually built to an exacting scale dimension, but 027 is fairly close to S scale proportions.
