Liquid Electrical Tape

I’m thinking of getting some liquid electrical insulation product so I can apply a drop or two to connections that are hard to cover by tape or heat-shrink tubing. Anybody have any experience with or recommendations about such products? I’d appreciate tips about reliable brands and where they can be purchased.

I have used it and had success with it. The brush that come with the bottle (mounted to the lid) is a little large and clunky for what we do. I use a cheap artist brush to apply it with. Also, make sure you cover the connection well i.e. apply the liquid liberally. After you open the bottle for the first time, put some oil or Vaseline on the threads. This will make it easier to open next time.

I used it to paint per=say my track screws to quiet the sound some and it did a fairly good job.

I’ve had a 4oz bottle for over 4 years. Made by Gardner Bender of Milwaukee. It is VERY handy for those smaller gauge wires and has the kind of peripheral odor that probably keeps critters from chewing on it like they do with standard electrical tape.
