I came across this earlier and thought I’d share it with you. It’s a listing of a number of LHS’s across Canada.

Very interesting. Thanx for posting that, Fergie. I bookmarked that site. I’ll check some of them out for mail-order as it should be better to order from them than from the U.S. (Canadian $$, no customs duties). I was very disappointed in the listings for Winnipeg. They left out quite a few stores, including my favourite one.

The listing is from the Canadian Association of Railroad Modelers (CARM), and it notes "The following is a listing of hobby shops from across Canada who are Sponsors ". So if your LHS is not a CARM sponsor it won’t be listed.

I belonged to CARM for a year, but dropped out because all I got out of it was 3 or 4 newsletters, costing me around $9.00 each.
