little help please

so, convinvcing my dad to drive me anywhere to go railfanning is next to impossible, but especially if im waiting for an hour for one train as in some places

i need to find a place in north georgia with a lot of constant traffic, a yard would be good if there is any near me

Folkston is usually pretty busy (OK, it’s south GA), and it seems like there is another spot in GA that advertises being busy. Check Trains…

Northeast Georgia or Northwest Georgia? If Northwest you will probably do better around Dalton,Ga (CSX crosses over NS) and it sees a fair amount of traffic.If in Northeast you will probably do best around Cornelia, Ga. There is a small yard in Tocca, Ga, about 15 miles south, but it is not accessable you can just see the top of it over a hill.
