Has anyone ever taken a Frateschi V8 and reworked it into an American Little Joe? http://www.frateschi.com.br/produtos/v8.php
The Brazilian version is most similar to the New Haven EP-4.

You could look at this:
A couple years ago at a show I saw someone selling the Frateschi models with either kits of parts of just the instructions on how to make an EP-4 out of them.

Little Joes were 2-D+D-2, those are 2-C+C-2. Still they are the closest thing to start with. We had this discussion on another forum but it didn’t really go anywhere.

Many times I almost bought one of these you could just leavem alone, letter it up to CSS&SB or Milwaukee and just say What if…already own a Joe anyways, CSS bought them practically a bargain, why they were able to obtain them after the Russian deal fell thru.
You could use them to make a little joe, because the body appears to be the same size on them and the little joes. All you would need to do is take a GG1 underframe, add the 2 extra axles, and use the Frateschi shell (with modified details.)
