loading ramp

There was some years ago in Model Railroader a short article with picture about a loading ramp for heavy equipment.

Does anyone remember the issue??

Wolfgang,

not much help here right now, but I do remember one that was made with timbers and railway ties and earth. But that was many years ago and I don’t have access to old info from here.

I do remember that the timbers ran parrellel to the tracks and the ties were cross ways and then bermed with the earth.
