Well the wife spoiled me again! I was wanting a 4-4-0 for a while now and had found the one I wanted. I kept putting off ordering it for one reason or another. So on Monday I hiked down to the Mailbox and what do I find in it, a Bachmann 4-4-0 with Tsunami sound. The wife said it was to help me get through my retirement. After 38 years it was official on January 29th, it was also my 55th Birthday. This is the 4th Loco she has bought for me out of the blue and she always gets it right. What a Gal!
I put it on the track and turned it to speed step 1 and that little thing just started to creep along at an incredibly slow pace. It runs like a dream, the only issue is sometimes it won’t go through my Walthers double crossover. I’ll have to work on that.
The only screen savers in this house are of Golden Retrievers. I asked her how she got the right Loco and she said she quickly saved the page when she asked me to go unload the ten bags of dog food from the truck. Note to self: Stop grumbling about the wives eight Golden Retrievers. [tup] [&][&][&][&][&][&][&][&] [tup]
Oops! I meant WIFE’S. It only seems like wives when I look at the Honeydo list.[(-D]

I held positions that I never actually worked at, as I was off doing something else.
The one benefit I had was a very high security clearance. High enough to be alone with heads of state. This let me go anywhere on any airport, waterfront/docks and most importantly rail yards. I really took advanta
Actually it’s 38 years of work for the Government. I have only been married 15 years. I was forty before I found the right girl. She was worth the wait.[:D]
