Looks like a kitbash to me (I could be absolutey wrong here…)
I see an Athearn GP9 frame, Bachmann E33 body and Athearn handrails…

Looks like a E-44/45 or something close to it. Good luck.
I took the locomotive apart and it is not a kitbash. It has a one piece shell. I did find Athearn on the frame of the locomotive. It is a dummy locomotive.

That, sir, is an authentic Athearn “rectifier” loco. It’s based on the General Electric E33. I used to have a powered one lettered for Virginian. It’s a bit of a collector’s item and hard to find, though if the paint were stripped, it’s probably worth “less”. Pretty cool. No real prototype, though. Well, yes there is. Athearn made the model shorter than scale so it would fit on their standard drive. Bachmann makes one that’s the proper size with the right 6 wheel trucks. You might go check it out at their website.
I foolishly hacked mine up for a freelance project after discovering it was shortened. Wish I hadn’t!

Thanks for the information. Some one painted the locomotive black. It used to a Pennsy locomotive you still can see the lettering on it. I’m planning on striping it down and painting it for my electrified division of my fictional railroad.
Now another question any one know where I can get one more of these locomotives at. Don’t matter if it is powered or not or if it is just the shell just as it is in good shape and complete.

Ya right. Click on the link below and pick the one you want
You realize he was refering to the Athearn version, right? All I see are a bunch of Bachmann’s in your link.
Little reference here…actual photo of a Penn Central E33.
Much more from where this came: http://www.northeast.railfan.net/electric9.html
I thought Lionel had done that or maybe they made a shell to fit on an Athearn chassis.
Definately a freelance of the E33 to a 8 wheel design. Just your squeeze it down trick for them sharp curves model railroad.
HArd to find and rare but they might turn up on ebay, I recall seeing one at the train barn in Kalamazoo, it does show up from time to time on ebay.
