I recently installed a new Williams reverse unit and TB II into a MTH F-3 that had been gutted. It runs great but it starts out in reverse instead of going forward. I know normally this is not a big deal but I am a little anal tentive when it comes to things. Do I need to change the wires going from the back motor to the front and visa versa or is it just a matter of switching wires from the left and right side of the motors? Any help would be great. I am still learning here and I am no genius to begin with.
reverse your wires on the motors
Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
A couple of my older Williams did that, and I would really liked to know that little trick a few years ago. I got a major league upset and gutted the reverse board and installed a 6 amp, 50 volt bridge rectifier to keep it going in one direction only. Needless to say it started in forward from then on, every time!
