What are US, Canadian, and Mexican customs regulations regarding locomotives and EOTD’s crossing international boundaries?
I saw a GN distribution of power that listed about six locomotives and three cabooses that duties were paid so they could travel between Seattle and Vancouver, BC.
Some BN locomotives had “OK Canada” and some did not. I don’t know what requirements the Canadians had for operations in Canada.
