Does anyone know why my 3361 log dump car take so many pressings of the unload button to unload the logs? The sequence is supposed to be about 7, but it takes many more presses to unload. I cleaned out some of the oil on the cam, but it is the same.
Try raising the track voltage a little, also check that the pawl is returning far enough each time to engage the next tooth on the ratchet.

[#ditto] This worked for me on the 3461.
That always works on the 3451/3461! The 3361 is a different beast altogether:

Rob: Thanks. Didn’t know that. (Don’t have one yet!)
They’re quite nice operationally … a good solution to the “launching” early cars like yours. They don’t load quite as well, though, due to the lack of the high stakes on the all metal cars. Logs have a tendency to roll off at the loaders and while in motion.

Thanks for the suggestions!
Happy New Year to all!
