I tried more than once the log out but may account stays open even when I closed my browser and waited 5 minutes and opend the forum web page in my browser the forum page is still open and I can not log out.
I’m with Mr. B on this. I did logout a couple of years back and wondered at the time if I was ever going to be able to login. It is obvious that I did but I am unwilling to undergo that experience again.

As most already know I use arcaic hardware/software. You should too! It prevents stuff like this from happening.
That being said, when you logged in - did you forget to uncheck that little box on the log in window that says “keep me logged in”?
Not that that button really works, but for some it still does.
(old website = old puter to work best since it was designed for it)
For your peace of mind, it really doesnt matter if your still logged in. Enjoy the glitch, its one of the few harmless glitches you will encounter on the electronic sewer.
I already had a password & username for trains.com and I logged in. I was able to view the track plan database & the CTT forum. But I could not able post anything. A message said to login even though my name was at the top of the screen. Logging in again did not work.
Then I logged into directly what hopefully was the CTT forum & my password did not work so I indicated that I forgot it. Next screen had me enter my customer number & it let me proceed to enter a new password., which I did. Now it appears I am able to post to the CTT forum. It also automatically brought up my trains.com username.
I wanted to see if I needed both passwords & tried to logout of trains.com and CTT but neither site lets me.
When I searched the CTT forum why did I end up on the MR forum?
Do I need to have two passwords, presuming I’m able to log out?
