Login Cookie headache

OK, I’ve been trouble keeping my login cookie, So I’m going to give a brief info on my set up.

For security measure I use the Mozilla Firefox Browser.

I have the Privacy Setting to clear out the cache file when the broswr is closed.

I have it set to clean out cookies as well except for The Exception filed cookie.

Under the Exception section I put the websites thatI want to keep the cookie.

I have for other websites in it and they keep the login cookie with now problem.

But I connot get this site to keep. the login cookie. I check the cookie file and it shows they are there but I still loose the login. I have notice it will keep it for a day even when I close the browser.

And Yes when I login here I tell it to remeber me.

So could someone enlighten me to why I have to keep relogin in and what do I need to do to get the cookie to keep me logged in.

I do believe that’s your problem.

Not to sound argumentive, But isn’t the cookie file and the cache file separate?

I’ve never had any problems like this before and as I said, I have 4 other message board set up this way and they don’t lose the login cookie.

Just uncheck the box next to the clear cache and see what happens. Made all the difference for me. On cookies I have both of the boxes checked and keep them until they expire.
