Or Boston with the terrible wrong of not connecting North Station with South Station during the “Big Dig” fiasco. The total cost overrun was several times more than the additional cost to add a rail tunnel AND Logan Airport still does not have a “at the airline terminals” rail link. Sad indeed.

If the “Big Dig” had included a rail tunnel it probably have been blamed for all of the cost overrun by the highway interests.
