Alexander Mitchells residence still in use in Milwaukee as a Private Club, thought I would share with the Forum some of the pictures from the inside. At one point he was in charge of both the Milwaukee Road and Chicago and Northwestern at the same time. Very wealthy Milwaukee family that lost a large chuck of their money in a later financial panic. I believe his grandson was Billy Mitchell of USAF and Mitchell Bomber fame.
