Yesterday on the news it said that it was the 1 year anniversary of the Long Island Railroad Massacre where this guy went with a gun and killed 6 people on an LIRR commuter train. A very sad story indeed. I feel very sorry for all of those who lost loved ones in it. I don’t ever remember hearing about it last year ago and only first heard about it now.
I think it it more likely the 10 year anniversery. I remember this A-hole, this nutjob shooter is now in prison for the rest of his unatural life after successfully representing himself in court, into multiple life sentances. Memorable moments from the trial included him questioning survivors of the shooting,
“Did you see the shooter”
“Yes, you shot me”
“What did he look like”
“Like you”
“Would you recocnize him if you saw him”

[:(] I remember this tragedy. What’s most disheartening is that innocent people lost their lives for apparently no reason at all (except, of course, that this guy was a lunatic). If memory serves me well, one of the victims was a six-year-old girl. I know you can’t bring the victims back, but at least he’s jailed with no opportunity for parole. Sometimes, life really BITES.[:(]
This guy wasn’t a lunatic. He was so full of hate towards whites and asians, that he walked through a commuter train shooting them. Something the gun grabbers don’t want you to know is, that if ANYONE was packing heat, they would have stopped this cretin and SAVED LIVES. But since they all were law abiding citizens, they all were unarmed and could only hope he ran out of ammo before he got to them. (He was finally stopped when he stopped shooting to reload and some people grabbed him.)
