I finally was able to get some new Burlington Northern/Metra cars and their stainless steel ones too! No one but these guys above and Island Model Works make the stainless steel commuter cars for Metra and I been eager to get them. I got them brand new for a very good price less than $80 for all three. My question now is where do I start? I’ve heard alot of stories about these cars both good and bad. Are there any tips anyone can provide before I take a swing at it?

Where did you get these!?! I’ve been looking for these for a while now. 
I too had been looking for these for quite a while and the local MRR club I’m in and knew and one of my good buddies told me he had several in his private collection that he was going to eventually use. Well I had saw two for sale on Ebay a month ago used for about $40 and decided to pass as they didn’t look in good condition. A few weeks ago I asked my buddy again and he said he would sell them to me if I really wanted them because he heard they were a pain in the butt to work on. I happily got them yesterday. Now I have to decide what to DO with them!
