Looking for a favor

Not sure if this is ok to do but I’m going to try anyway. What I’m looking for is the end railings both front and back for Athearn’s GP50 and SD45. I was wondering if someone here has a set of either or both that they would be willing to mail to me so I could use them as a pattern to bend my own. I would pay for the shipping and would send the packaging materials to the person able/willing to help me and I would send them back. I cannot find these handrails for the life of me and cannot figure any better way. If someone has a better idea please let me know. I would greatly appreciate any help as I would like to finally fini***hese models.

Have you tried contacting Athearn? I guess it is Horizon now, but if the parts were missing or damaged in the box, then they should be able to provide replacements…

If you are going to the trouble to make your own, you should make them match the prototype rather than Athearn parts. MR has published plans for both the SD45 and GP50 (use the Index of Magazines above) which you can photocopy to HO scale to use as patterns.
