I know I can order from athearn directly but dont want to wait up to 4 weeks for a shipment to be delivered. I’m after a SW1500 Underframe with powered or unpowered trucks. I have a shell and need to put it on something. SO I ask whats a good source for parts. Thank you in advance.

Wholesale Trains. Though shipping may take a few days, their parts listing for Athearn is quite extensive, and less than what you would pay for from Horizon.
In my extensive experience, if Horizon shows it in stock you will get it right away.(2 days for me). If not you possibly will not get it elsewhere as most of the discount guys order after you order from them There are not many places carrying Athearn parts as there are just too many. Actually the best bet is a junker from a train show or Ebay. Dummy locos have the same frame.
Thanks everyone for your great quick replies. Luckily i found a guy on a yahoo forum thats willing to trade me his SW1500 dummy frame with trucks for some decal work. I have booked marked 1st hobbies and will keep everyones suggestions open due to I will need more parts I’m sure. I know I will need the freight car coupler pocket cover those things fly when they pop off and most likely more Locomotive coupler pocket covers to once my bag runs out.
