Does anyone know of a southern pacific 4-8-0 Mastadon locomotive in HO scale? I would relly like to have one, but can’t find one. Thanks in advance
Would that be similar to the Mantua 4-8-0 that was once offered?? Try Ebay…

Ya as far as I know - outside of brass - the 1890’s Mantua 4-8-0 is the only HO model I’ve seen, and that uses the body and tender of their 4-6-0 based on the old Sierra RR engine (as featured on Petticoat Junction, High Noon, etc.)
Max Gray and Westside both did brass models of the SP TW-8 4-8-0 in the 60’s. Occasionally one will show up on EBay. No other SP 4-8-0 class has been done as far as I know.
You could also join the Espee group on Yahoo and ask if someone has one he’s willing to part with.
