looking for a nyc,f12 in HO (brass)

I keep looking at The Caboose,Mitchell’s, Don Black,The Red Caboose,BC enterprises,Dan’s Trains and one or two other brass sellers.Does anyone know of any other sites that might come across a F12? I would like to stay away from Ebay, and rather deal with a repuitable dealer

Try Caboose Hobbies (www.caboosehobbies.com) or Hawkins Rail Service. Hawkins has no website but they advertise in MR.

Mike, if you are unwilling to deal with eBay, you may be in for quite a long search, as well as a higher than necessary price. These engines apparently were not a very common brass model . Precision Scale imported some in the late 1980’s but I don’t know just how many and I can’t recall ever running across one. Gem brought in about 300 units many years ago and that’s what I have an example of (which took a long time to locate too).

These engines do show up occasionally on eBay, so you might consider reconsider your reluctance to look there.

In that case,I guess that I’m going to have to learn how to navigate my way around ebay, and learn how to place bids and such.I’ve never used it,but we all have to start someplace. Thanks
