looking for B&O caboose decals

With the demise of Champ decals anyone aware of a maker of B&O caboose decals? Microscale seems not to have them and i really don’t know where else to look.

Is it possible to use say a set of locomotive or passenger car decals from Microscale to get the needed lettering / capitol dome dacals in the correct colors?

I have searched for B&O decals to rename a loco/tender I have.

They seem to be far and wide and hard to find.

Try Micro Scale Decals. That is where I found my decals for the loco/tender. I wasn’t looking for cabooses though.

I think at one time, the B&ORRHS had decals available. But I didn’t see any on their website when I looked just now. They do have a set for the M-55/M-55a boxcars, which looks like you could “decal-bash” to get caboose lettering. At one time, someone had the decals from the Pacifc Mountain Scale Shops kits available (maybe the B&ORRHS), but I don’t remember whom. Ebay is another possiblilty to find Champ sets. Finally, you might wish to join the B&O Yahoo group, and ask there:

Good Luck,

Try Greg Komar Dry Transfers & Decals, the maker of the Dry Transfer Paper has gone out of business and he is going to decals and can make any of the old dry transfers into decals for you and he has caboose lettering.

There is a vendor at the Great Scale Train Show (timonium, Md.)who has trays of Champ, Hearld King, and other decals. That vendor is Northern Central Supply Company. Their website is: http://www.northerncentralsupply.com/.

If you know the number of the decal you want, maybe you’ll have luck there.
