I am looking for a layout plan that was featured back in the mid-seventies. I’m really not sure of all of it, for it may have been in either MR or RMC, any how it was a larger layout that also listed all the structures by manufacturers of the time(lots of AHM kits,etc), does any of this sound familar to any one who has those older issues? Thanks in advance mike h.
Unfortunately, that sounds like a lot of layouts. It would help if you could remember something specific about it.

The description parameters are a tad vague, but you might recognize the layout by browsing the Train Magazine Index for yourself.
Yes I know and apologize, but it seems to have been around the room and may have been two levels, which again seems all too vague, the only distinct feature, is it had all the industries listed and which kits were used for each space.
One thing that might help your trip through the index would be to look up project railroads or winners of track planning contests as these seem to have that sort of detail. I seem to remember something that might be what you want but the memory is not complete, I believe it was a southern themed layout. I just checked on the heart of Georgia and that was not the one I was thinking of. if I remember i will try and post something later, in the mean time I suggest reading the indexes for the past several years to see if anything triggers a memory.
