I hope this type of ad is allowed if not let me know and I’ll delete it. I’m looking for a Walthers Life-like Proto 2000 Alco GE demonstrator A/B set that was released around 4 or 5 years ago. The model number is 920-40112 PA1 & PB-1 A/B unit both units were powered and it was Red. I want this to add to my personal collection and have tried everywhere. Bill, you may have better sucess finding this by joining/ posting on HOInterchange (yahoo group). I don’t believe there’s any rule against asking to locate, only posting a for sale item.

Good luck, know what it’s like hunting down that special out of production piece. Spent 2 years looking for a Stewart F3 ph2 B unit to complete my B&O ABBA, funny, finaly found one from a dealer in CA.

Do you have a saved search set up on ebay? Got a line on several things I was looking for that way. Got beat on some of them, purchased others.
