new to this and looking for information on Santa Fe in the 1950-1954 on engines, cars and buildings - is ther an online site with any of this information??[:)]
A good starting point would be the Santa Fe Historical & Modeling Society site:

John,
Thanks, was what I was looking for.

Here’s another great Santa Fe website
http://www.qstation.org/atsfresource.html
I have been at most of the sites, but I am looking for detailed photos of F7’s No 37 LABC between 1950 and 1952. I bought the Highliner kits and would like to model this. Note that internet helps alot and books are harder to get in Germany.
I have over 20 years compiled my own bibliographic file to some 200 or so published photos of Santa Fe F-units, sorted by loco model and engine number. These are only 2 photos listed for #37.
#37 nose closeup a good 3/4 view, taken standing at ground level, year not specified, prototype photo in Athearn adv.,ModRRer Aug02 p.7
this photo is credited to Paired Rail Publications, Steve Priest Collection. Perhaps more info or photo from them?
#37(L) Warbonnet front on shot in Cajon, July 1955, 2Q97 p.17
I notice that this is the first engine number in a series, looks like 37-48. Should you perhaps be looking for members of the “37 Class” and model the loco for which you track the best information.
I found a picture on the internet a as delivered photo of 37LABC but my problem is that the engines were changed in small details so often I am finding it hard to justify my models existance to reality. My big problem is that as delivered the A units had only one head light and I would like the two head light mod. Including the other details.
