Anyone on here who has some video or home movie footage they might be willing to sell?

Even just a few minutes worth? Could be worth some money if you happen to have something, even a minute or two.
Hmmmm. No, you probably wouldn’t be interested in the super-8 footage I shot in '84, even if I could find it in my parent’s garage.
Additional comment: if you haven’t posted this on http://www.railroadforums.com, you ought to.
Jeff:
I might be. If you could find it, of course.

Just curious. Why do you want footage of 4449? Was there a secret map on the back of 4449 that can tell you where the treasure is?
Long story … let me try to make it short.
MyMemoirs Video, the company distributing my Siskiyou Line video series, is spinning off the model train video section (which is doing well and has some impressive future expansion plans) into its own company called, suprprisingly:
They want to build a “logo florish” for their videos that includes a few moments of 4449, and to do that, they will need some video or movie footage.
I dought if my old super 8 film would even stay together long enough to tranfer to something else. But when 4449 was here in Ala in 1975 and 76 with the Freedom Train, I have some film of them switching engines with the T1 and the whole Freedom Train, I also got some film of 4449 when she was leaving Birningham to return west, But the last time I tried to run it , it just wanted to break apart.
