looking for steel bridge kits

i have been through the Walthers book, and am not able to locate longer steel bridge kits.

I purchased a wooden trestle kit (curved and on sale this week) It was not what I am looking for so I am sending it back.

My layout is more on the modern side and the wood trestle would not really fit.

Anyone know of a company that sells a steel bridge kit possibly wiht steel girders? What I am looking for can be seen on the Wheeling and Lake Erie website. www.wlerwy.com

thanks

You could try the Central Valley truss bridge also. I think it is about 22" in length.

Micro Engineering makes that exact bridge. It’s listed as a steel viaduct. They offer it in 150’ and 210’ lengths with extensions available as well. They offer the correct track with the proper tie spacing for this kit too.

Go to Walther’s website and find Micro Engineering in the manufacturers list. Pages 8 and 9 of their products list this kit and additional components.

It would be very helpful to know what scale you are using.

Micro engineering as mls says. It can be lengthened, heightened and curved. I am looking forward to kitbashing some for the mountain scenes.

Art’s right–Micro Engineering makes a steel viaduct in both N and HO scales, and offers them both ‘regular’ and ‘tall’. The kit takes a lot of patience, but the result is a really handsome model. And if you want a ‘curved’ one, the instructions on how to accomplish that are right there, too. I kitbashed two of their ‘tall’ viaducts to construct a curved (36" radius) long viaduct for the Yuba River Sub, and I’m very happy with it.
