Looks like Bachmann will produce the SD70ACe and ES44AC's as well

Hello everybody,

here is a add I have seen: http://www.modelrailroadnews.com/PDF/NEWS%20-%20Loco%20-%20HO%20-%20Bach%20-%20I-Hobby.pdf

I think it is a great move, this way everybody can enjoy the look of big AC power on their layout regardless of the budget constraints.

I hope they are Good.

I’ve notice the newer DCC on board locomotives are superior to their older locomotives.

I’ve no complaints about my GE70 Tonner or Alco DCC/Sound equipped S4.

Interesting that my first reaction when this opened up was “WOW - Chuggington HO models!!”. Guess that’s being a grandpa does to you.

Anyway, I agree. I wouldn’t shell out big bucks for a “heritage” engine, but a reasonably priced good model in NYC lettering might be fun to have.

p.s. Since the new 2-6-0 is based on a Green Bay & Western engine, it would nice to see the model offered in GB&W decoration…or at least an undec version.

True, the Bachmann factory is cranking out products and most are much better than their past adventures of a few years ago.

I was surprised at the two new diesels they announced, but they sold a lot of their 2-8-4 Berkshires after eveyone and their brother had them on the market. I guess competition is good for all of us.
