I was on the ferry coming back from Vancouver Island and came across a facebook page that was a group of British model railroaders that model North American roads.

It was Friday and they had a regular thread called “Friday’s crazy lashups”. There were photos of power lashups with models from North America, Europe and elsewhere. Some really gave me a chuckle including a maintenance speeder on point with a big boy behind followed by an English electric loco of some kind. That one was a video accompanied by stills.

I don’t have anything you would call unusual to offer, but hoping that some of you do, let’s give it a go.

This is the best I could do.

A BS 4-4-0 followed by two Atlas Trainmasters and a BLI 2-10-4

No pictures, but back in the '70s, I had a Rivarossi “Genoa” 4-4-0, and an AHM 4 wheel diesel switcher which was driven by 1 axle. It took the 2 of them to get a short train around my 4x8 sheet of plywood. Memories…

On one of my trips to Horseshoe Curve I took a photograph of a Conrail SW1200 switcher on a manifest eastbound going past the observaton area. It was running since you could hear the difference in its sound from the big road switchers.
