Hi everybody, nice stuff! Last night I purchased a used BN Covered Hopper that for once I am DETERMINED to paint the parts that shouldn’t be green. Plus, I only bought it because somehow my sister became interested in the hobby! She said she’d graffiti, thats right, graffiti, i’m so ashamed, and I know this sentenc is a run-on, but anyways, she’d graffiti a car for me. Now, if she doesn’t go through with it after all, I’ll try my hands at it!
Unforutnately, I can’t find my camera, so I have no pics. For some reason even a single car makes me hyper happy.
The way things are going 2 am is nothing. But you’re right , it’s too late.

Been a while since I have posted on this forum, but tis the season for model railroading here was the Wednesday night project.
Detailing and weathering this genisis SD70M CSX 4699, looking like your typical CSX SD70M (at least the ones I have photos of)
I also started on a retaining wall but I have no photos of that yet.

I am installing decoders in 2 Kato N u30c’s this weekend.
I ran trains this AM and cleaned some loco wheels, and sorted cars and car cards.

I still need to do the trucks and couplers, but I’m waiting for more supplies in the mail to finish it up. I think it looks pretty good for a first attempt.[:D]
JPM335, i think it looks GREAT! you did real good for a first time job.[;)][:D] thuogh i cant read the reporting marks. think about this, if the railroad cant read the reporting marks, how can they classify it? if it was me the ONLY thing i would do besides the trucks and couplers, like you said, would be to wipe off where the reporting marks are. other then that, great job![:D]

This was a set-up for a photo contest. It was a tunnel shot and I didn’t have a tunnel on my layout. So it was suggested I use a foam one.

last sunday i got some new equipment but the batteries in my camera were dead so i have pictures now…
I got an o scale FDNY speeder with trailers and i got 5 HO scale passenger cars…

I got 2 of these, they are bachmann and they are great, I am going to put new trucks with metal wheels on them and knuckle couplers
I got 3 of these, they are also bachmann and i am going to do the same to them as the 2 above. The road name on these is village express and judging by the colors they came from a christmas set, i actually like them in those colors though so i think i will keep them that way.
