Certain of my cars keep losing their wheels they are plastic and I wonder why? and is there a way to prevent it.
Are the sides of the trucks warped outwards? If so, the wheels can fall out pretty easily. And if that’s the case, the best thing to do is replace the trucks, but you may be able to unwarp the trucks a little by bending the sides back in with something like pliers.

Are the axles falling out of the side frames –
Are wheels coming off of the axles –
Most plastic wheels are all one piece so it’s very unlikely the second choice.
If axles are falling out of the side frames it’s because the frames are warped. No cure except to change the entire truck.
Or the side frame is worn form high use and can no longer hold the axle in place. It really does not matter, the truck still would need to be replaced.
