While reading the Chicago Tribune this morning I came across an article about Urban Exploration, in other words exploring abandoned buildings, tunnels, etc… Well, anyway, after reading this my curiosity was peaked and I surfed until I found the web page shown below which has very many links to other sites, including many regarding exploring old abandoned railroads, stations, tunnels, etc. This site is really cool and worth some surfing time on everyones part, especially if you are into old stuff like me.

Just remember (having done some this kind of thing… shouldn’t say that, should I?) that some of this is fun… some of it is only mildly illegal… but some of it really really really dangerous (and sometimes really illegal too – but illegal won’t kill you). So: if you’re going to go, research where you are going a little and, if there is any hint of danger (and you still are suicidally inclined) TAKE SOMEONE RELIABLE WITH YOU.

Oh yes. If you get hurt, don’t you dare sue the property owner. You, and you alone, asked for it.
