Does anyone have information regarding the consist of the Louisiana & Arkansas “Hustler” which ran from Shreveport to New Orleans back in the 1930’s and maybe into the 1940’s?
I know the last car was a standard (with trussrods, no less) parlor-observation-buffet car based on photos in the old Locomotive Quarterly. Anyone have lnowledge where plans for that car could be obtained?
Suggest you contact the KCS Historical Society at www.kcshs@kcshs.org They’d be your best bet to find the info you want about the Hustler.

Michael, did you ever get an answer to your inquiry about consist and the two solarium lounge cars used on the Hustler built to Pullman plan 4027A.
