Does anyone know when the job between Jeff and Columbus goes to work and on which end? I think I read the job on the Columbus-Avon end goes to work out of Columbus at 4am or so? Not sure about the run to or from Jeffersonville.
You are correct, the CA is now OD at Columbus at 4am, heads up to Avon, and gets back to Columbus around noon.
The CJ is now OD at Columbus at 4pm, runs to Jeff and back in the evening. i believe that both the CA and CJ run on Saturdays now.
There is a new CS turn to Seymour, to feed CSX’s lonely J780, too. It’s OD at 6am M-F at Jeff.
The beginning of the new CSX traffic plan had the Q272 to Detroit out of Louisville at 2am, turning the corner at Seymour for Cincy. The Q268 to Newark,NJ is out of Louisville at 5am, and the Q226 to Baltimore,MD is supposed to be out at 11:30am. They been chronically early- often both trains coming into Indianapolis before noon, with the CA waiting for them at IU Tower.
I don’t not believe track improvements have begun, i am guessing things will get shaken up a bit when it does.
On duty at 1600 at Columbus. Goes to Jeffersonville and turns back to Columbus. Yes, the Avon turn goes on duty at 0400 for a turn to Avon and back to Columbus.
That is already beginning to be a busy little stretch of railroad. By my count Columbus now sees 8 train movements.

Very cool guys, Thanks!
So the Seymour turn carries a C symbol even though it goes to work out of Jeff?
Nope, that was a typo on my part: also, to echo a rumor, the LIRC has changed the names to the CAC, CJC and added the JSJ.
