LSR&N Paint Shops had a busy weekend....

Apparently the Lake Superior Railway & Navigation folks had a busy weekend getting units out of the paint shop and ready for the electrical and lighting guys. The company photog was onscene to record the unit releases, but, judging by the focus of the shots, he may have had a little too much “liquid lunch.” Enjoy!

Wow, that’s impressive! Do you have some more already painted?

Wow man, those are pretty sweet. I really dig the slug too…makes one heck of a combo. I have to admit, I am jealous that you got your name all ready marked up on the hood. I really like that font too. Great job!!![:D]

Thank you! I have two more units stripped and in primer, waiting to shoot color, along with a couple of cabeese and some box cars. Still trying to decide how I’m doing the 'beese yet.

I have some log cars done i’ll post pics of when I get a chance.

canazar: Thanks for the kind words! I’ve always been a fan of the cow/calf set up ever since I saw my first Athearn add for them. i did the paint job myself using Badger Modelflex paints, but the scheme, font and layout of the decals was developed by Highball Graphics. great place to work with and very reasonable in price! for those interested, here’s a link
