2011 will mark the 10th anniversary of the closing of the LTVX line from Hoyt Lakes MN to Taconite Harbor MN. The tracks are still there, unused . Does anybody know what is the formal status of this line?
What do you think should happen to it? Leave it mothballed in case someone comes up with a use for it? A tourist line? Tear it out for a recreational trail? Abandon it & let the ROW revert to the adjacent land owners?
