today was the great train expo. i was there toward the begining of the day and i picked up 2 rivarossi vista domes in up colors for $20 but wait thats not all i got a proto 2000 sd7 for, get this $0.00 brand spankin new for free, and a ihc 4-8-2 moutain union pacific for 50 dollers cool huh.
speeking of vista domes the couplers are the old horn hooks with the realy long shank things i’d like to do kadees any ideas on what i should use?

I don’t know about Kadee’s, but McHenry makes long shank couplers with connections to fit IHC and ConCor cars, I believe.

Second on the McHenrys for your pass cars (the one time I’ll actually recommend them)… They have a coupler made specifically to fit both the 4 wheel trucks as well as the 6 wheel trucks… Just a simple snap on installation…
Now the question… HOW did you manage to score a P2K SD7 for a grand total of $0.00??
