Lucky Me

Just got a new office in our building. 20 feet from a very active east/west BNSF track. Easily 20-35 trains during the time I am at work. Hope they stay upright and on the tracks…[:)]

Well, you’ll be among the first to know if they don’t…There’s an airport right beside our property…

Got Camera?

and film

and milk [:D]

What kind of internet connection do you have? Wanna put up a rail cam?

red, it’s obvious they are punishing you. [at least your office has a window.] Who in his right mind would want an office that close to an active railroad? No, not a railfan. I said “in his right mind.” We are an odd bunch, are we not?

I say it was kinda like that Brer Rabbit and the briar patch thing (If you are old enogh to recall the Song of the South and Uncle Remus, before Disney ceded to the PC thing. “Please boss, whatever you do, don’t make me have to take the office next to the railroad tracks”…or I guess in today’s world of “team players” it would be…" well. If I have to take the office next to the train yard for the team, so be it, just as long as I have a good Internet connection"…

…Wonder how a fan gets any work accomplished.

I bet he has constant appointments with FRED.[:)]

I really like the rail cam idea. [8D]

Is a $1 a month ok for membership dues? [:o)]

Where do we sign? [:p]

I like free, but understand it can’t always be. You can have the meal they serve here on Sunday nights. I usually go somewhere else.

You’re old enough to remember Brer Rabbit and Uncle Remus! Wow - I am impressed!

Mook

A friend of mine has an office that overlooks the B&OCT line on Chicago’s West Side that includes a lot of WC traffic and he isn’t the only one who looks out the window to watch the trains.

Just goes to show that age and maturity are mutually exclusive

If you are talking about the food served in a college cafeteria on Sunday night I KNOW exactly what you mean. Sunday noon after church was great, Sunday evening forget it–IT SUCKED. It was nothing but leftovers and dried out at that.
The hobos on a passing freight probally ate better.

Yeah be lucky your ofice has a window… all mine has is a toilet, a bed… and a Lot of bars surrounding this wjole place, then outiseid theres a huge fence that sourounds the outseid property with guards and dogs… kinda like prison…

hey wait a minute…

It’ll be a few years before you graduate from highschool, right? Enjoy! You won’t miss it. Your friends, definately, the school…never.
