OK friends I need alot of help.I am new to trains in General,and decided to go with the L.G.B trains because of it’s reputation on quality.I just purchased a New York Central Starter set with sound and the Black Widow Diesel with sound.OK now I want to be able to operate both trains at the same time on the same track.What do I need to purchase,and include the model numbers so I can do this.Later I want to purchase the New York Street Car with sound .I don’t know very much about garden railroading,but I’m game in learning.Appreciate any help you professionals out there have .

If you want to go digital you need to first check that the start set loco and the F7 are fitted with mts decoders, look for the silver mts sticker on the box.
To get started you’ll need 2 things,
(USA 120v version) of 50110? 5amp transformer.
55105 mts starter pack type 2, this includes a decoder if either of your locos need one.
this will get you going but programming is limited.
Once you are happy with basic operation you can the 55045 PC decoder program module and usb lead if you need it 55068 (any similar usb adapter from a computer shop will work and are cheaper! I took the catalogue to my local store and said I want one of those and had a choice of 3)
the module and lead allow you to program more address’s ,light functions, direction setups etc.
