M636 trucks

Does anyone have any information about the trucks used on the M636? Unlike the C636 trucks they look like they have equal spacing between all of the axles. They don’t quite look like EMD or GE 3-axle trucks, and the only information I’ve been able to find suggests that they are a different axle spacing than used in EMD or GE trucks.

Any information would be helpful, especially diagrams or scale drawings.

You mean these:

In HO; use Kato or Proto RSC trucks, for close to the correct wheel base, then make custom side frames. You could cut down EMD or GE side frames.

Yes, those are exactly what I am talking about. In fact, that is a picture of one of two locomotives I wanted to know this for. Thanks for the advice!

Here’s an M630 with what appear to be similar trucks:

Here’s a C636 with HiAd trucks - the axle spacing looks the same to me. I believe Stewart/Bowser has or will be offering these on a C630:

Yes, the Dofasco truck as used under the MLW C630M, M630 and M636, and also the earlier GE Dash-8s has quite different axle spacing, and has a much shorter wheelbase overall. Try the following supplier, who apparently actually produces the correct truck.
