Magazine insert survey

Just wondering how many of you all plan on filling out the survey in this months mag and turning it in ?

You sent me on a mad dash onto the patio to retrieve my June '11 issue from out of the porch swing in order to see what in the aitch-e-double-hockey-sticks you were talking about and having perused the magazine I must say that I still don’t know what in the aitch-e-double-hockey-sticks you’re talking about.

I couldn’t find any survey in my copy either…???

Wayne

None for me either.

Enjoy

A possibly new concept for people who never took statistics 101 : sampling

Wish I had gotten one!

Is it April 1st again already?

Or is this thread some kind of psychology class project.

You never mentioned what Mag your talking about. I did however fill out the survey from MRR on line from one of E-Mail news letters.

Sam

There is one on the RMC web site. I saw nothing in MR.

Pete

No survey here either. Maybe just randomly selected a few mags for the survey.

However, I did get an email from Neil a few months ago requesting I complete an on-line survey (which I did).

I got one and mailed it back the next day.

Likewise

That’s why I posted (on the `How old are we’ thread) that MR would shortly have, and possibly publish, the average age of its subscribers.

I got one and sent it back. Did not reveal family income however. Don’t mind answering hobby questions but income is none of their business.

Hi guys,

The hobby-activity survey is stapled into some issues, but not all, so don’t think that anything is wrong if you did not get one. We only need a sampling. Also, this is a different survey from those we do online.

Sincerely,

Neil

Survey?

I throw anything out that isn’t attached to the magazine.

Survey?

We don’t need no stinkin’ survey.

Maybe they only sent them out to the people that would fill them out and return them…

John

Could they have attributed your stated income to you as a respondent? Were they asking for your name and address, etc? That would be highly unusual.

Guys -

While we do a lot of surveys through various media, we don’t make any attempt to tie the answers back to a specific individual. Unless you write your name on your survey, which we don’t ask people to do, we don’t even have the names of our respondents. We don’t try to tie survey responses to customer records.

In other words: Your responses to our surveys are anonymous, and we really do appreciate your filling them out.

Thanks for reading MR,

Terry

Anonymous… eponymous… it’s all greek to me…
