The gluing of the hose to the wire looks a bit fussy for me to install but my hands are not the steadiest.

That’s exactly what I thought. But a bad stroke a few years ago left me with the use of one hand. But I learn my friend. So my opinion wouldn’t be the best against someone with the use of both hands.
