Hi All- I’m just getting restarted in the hobby and find that I have virtually NO LHS in my area. The closest are 75 miles east and west and all six together don’t carry enough material for one scratch building project. I need some guidance for picking a decent mail order supplier. My choice of scale is HOn3, so heavy on kits and scratch building supplies. I did order a Blackstone loco from Caboose and was relatively satisfied with the service, but I have noted that some on this forum have had issues with backordering and shipping charges with them.

Sorry to restart this subject, but I tried the search function and got mostly DCC info–not quite ready for that yet. Thanks, Steve

Since your interest is narrow gauge, my suggestion would be that you purchase a copy of the Narrow Gauge and Shortline Gazette and look through it for companies with web sites.
