I noticed that the Maine Eastern is running two different locos between Brunswick, Maine and Rockland, Maine this year. #488 and #489(if memory serves me correctly), anyway, I think they are E-series units, are they E-3s or E-7s, or E-8s? I dont have a clue how to tell one E-series from another. Also, does anyone know what happened to the Maine Eastern F40PHs #265 & #291they ran on the Brunswick-Rockland branch last year? [:D]!!!Thanks in advance for any info!!![:D]
They’re FL-9’s. Not sure what happened to the F40PH’s though.

Is the Morristown and Erie C424 still running cement trains from the Dragon plant?

Dan, thanks for the info on the FL-9s[:D], as for the M&E C424, I’ve never seen it myself. The only other locos I have seen are the two GP-15-1s that are former Safe Handling Rail Inc. units(#1501 & #1507,haven’t seen 1507 in several months) with LLPX (Locomotive Leasing Partners LLC). Thanks again!!!
The SHR GP15s used to literally run through my back yard when I lived in Topsham. I think the Alco is back in Jersey now after a little research. I found a tidbit of info that the F40s may, may be working on Metro North now, but I can’t find anything to confirm that yet, unless they made their way to F40 hell up the county with MMA.
