I ran out of space so I decided to double decker my layouts. They nice thing about modules are that all I had to do was change the legs out and stack them!

I have been wrestling with a 10 by 10 room and cannot use all of it for railroads. I actually only about half the space to use. Reading the magazine for the last few months has been great with all the 4x8’s. I am currently at 2 by 8 on the top and 4 by 4 on the bottom. This gives me a switching area I wanted and the loop. Some nice byproducts of not having them connected are that I can have both DCC and DC, two totally different time periods, and totally different landscapes. The top deck is 42 inches high and the bottom is 30 inches which still allows me to sit in my chair and have good viewing.
