I did a pre order when they were first released, it took 2½ years to arrive. It came DCC ready and ran OK with a Digitrax DH123P. It is the noisiest locomotive I’ve ever owned, nothing worked to get rid of all the mechanism noise. It spends most of it’s time parked in or next to the roundhouse.

Hoping the later model runs better

but from one of the links Rich posted it looks like this loco also has shorting problems

but it appears they can be fixed

Hope i can fix the shorting problems that the poster talks about

Looks like there’s enough room for a Keep alive above the motor

If the decoder will fit in the cab standing up straight

Then i can use the Coal/Oil bunker for the speaker

If not then i could notch out the walkway behind the side tank and use a sugar cube

I did Google the Loco and did see a reference to shorting but not sure I can find it right now.
