I have two old Mantua 2-8-2 steam engines that I am missing some parts I know the parts and part numbers I need. Is there anyone out there who has oldMantua parts

I have four of these in operation. They’re good runners and pullers. The '50’s design mechanism is durable and easy to work on. For some of the detail parts like pilots and cabs cast in metal, try “Parts by Paul,” Paul Fritcher at guitar@cccomm.net I got some from him about a year ago.

And Yardbird Trains is a good one, too. I won the bid on some items he had on Ebay and picked up a few others from him.

You see plenty of “basket case” Mantua mikes and pacifics at swap meets and it might actually be cheaper to get your parts that way – provided of course the basket case engine is not missing the exact same parts :slight_smile:
