Hi guys,
Off topic again!! I find that when I’m ‘talking’ with people it helps me to know, roughly, where they are. There is a very good online map at http://uk.multimap.com that covers the world and magnifies down to streets. I am in Blackpool, about a mile inland. No need to give post/zip codes out so no funny mail. It’s such a good map that it would be handy for convention directions etc and anyway, I know you have your own!

Ps.no Blackpool this year as I’m going to the museum in Lowestoft to play with some trams.But next year I want to take the kids up to see the illuminations.
Pasadena, Ca…about as close as you can get and still keep the greater LA megalopolis in perspective.
I am so out there the map would not help.

GPS is 100’ +/- for non-military
I found this out when I bought my 1st GPS, real nice small writing on there
I used to go walking on the moors and in the mountains in the good knee days and a few walkers used GPS. They used to say that when the US was in a state of alert the GPS system would go to 100% accuracy. When there’s no alert the system is +/-100’

Quicker to tell you to grab a map of West Aaustralia and find Kalgoorlie
sort of in the middle and down a bit[:D]
While your at it find a town starting with B 35 miles NE of London and you have found where I
was Born or railway map from Liverpool St and trace the line beyond Harlow Mill station
your railway map wants to be no later than 1972
It does show up on a late never early map

If you have a GPS, try this 149 deg E 34 deg S and you will be just about where i live.
I am a qualified ocean navigator and was the owner skipper of a coastal yacht untill like Kim my knees gave out.

Sorry gentlemen I made mistake not 34 deg S but 24 deg south. If you went to those other coordintes you would be in south west New South Wales and i live in SE Queensland.
