Anyone know what the policy is out there? I am getting complaints from freinds who do not want to be exposed to this obnoxis weed when they travel out there. This is way worse then cigs or cigars.
Troll, definitely a troll[8o|]
It is illegal to consume marijuana on public transit platforms. From ----- https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/marijuanainfodenver/residents-visitors --------- “Where am I allowed to consume retail marijuana? • Answer - Retail marijuana is intended for private, personal use. Such use is only legal in certain locations not open or accessible to the public. Marijuana may not be consumed openly or publicly. Can I consume marijuana in public? • Answer - No, it is illegal to consume marijuana in public. This includes but is not limited to areas accessible to the public such as transportation facilities, schools, amusement/sporting/music venues, parks, playgrounds, sidewalks and roads and outdoor and rooftop cafes. It is also illegal to smoke at indoor-but-public locations like bars, restaurants and common areas in buildings.”
So obviously saying “I’m just holdin’ it for somebody, man!” still doesn’t cut it.
Question: Is smoking permitted on the platform in Denver?
If the answer is, “No,” then that means that smoking of ANYTHING is forbidden on platforms.
If the answer is, “Yes,” the anti-tobacco forces have a new battle to win. However, the pro-marijuana forces have already lost their part of it.
